This piece was inspired by my re-reading my favorite book of Dickinson poetry and feeling compelled to make a piece of typography & image that captured the way that opening stanza makes me feel. Emotion so intense it's almost violent in nature, word and image woven together in a way only Dickinson can achieve. It took a few tries but I think this finally evokes the feelings I want it to. Now I'm ready to unleash it upon the world & hang it up on my wall.
